SEW BABY!

I have been working on MANY thing here! I have become obsessed with searching for ideas and such that will make life a mommy easier!

My latest things I have been working on are Diaper Clutch bags for the mom ON THE GO! For that mom who does not like to carry the big bulky diaper bag for just running out the door to the store I have what your looking for!

If you are handy with sewing I got the FREE tutorial over HERE at  Noodlehead! Very easy to follow unless you are like me and want to try and tweak things! :) But here are a couple of clutches I came up with from that tutorial and I made a matching travel wipe case to match! Can't have diapers without wipes!

Then yesterday day I found this GREAT  FREE tutorial HERE at favecrafts: blog for there Tippy Sippy Leash! SO GREAT and SO EASY! I plan to make lots of these and gift them. What mom wouldn't LOVE something that kept her baby's bottle or sippy cup or toy from always being dropped on the ground! Here are pictures of the ones I made. I made one small leash and one large because the size they recommended didn't fit on my son's LARGE nubby sippy cup not on an Avent Bottle. SO I made it bigger!
This morning I got another idea of how I might be able to change it to make them quicker and to make them more cost effective and easier for all my friends/buyers! And yes they are made to fit on average size baby equipment such as stroller, high chair, or baby carseat handle I only had my daughters play set available at the time, so I worked with what I had!!! hehe!  Well I hope you enjoy!

HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!

Shaking things UP!

I know I have been MIA and not posting for a VERY long time! It has been SUPER DUPER busy around here and not much time to blog!

I just wanted to do a post to let you all know that I am changing things up here at Little Gurty Creations! I have found a new LOVE for sewing! At first I thought I wanted to sew kids cloths, which that was fun but I am gonna go in a different direction but still keep it baby/kid oriented.

I have been doing lots of research on things people are loving these days! Even though my husband says I am worse than a squirrel collecting, I have been working on creating a good fabric stash. I now have a pretty good stash thanks to some GREAT sales I found and some GOOD friends who were destashing! Talk about good timing!

Things you have to look forward to!
Diaper clutch to hold the bare essentials for diapering baby, to match travel wipe cases. Car seat canopy's, Cloth diaper burp cloths, bibs, pacifier clips. All of which can coordinate and be purchases as a baby gift set or be purchased separately.
For the older kids, Crayon roll-ups (holds 16 crayons), Art cases (holds average size coloring book, crayons and such)

There are many more ideas floating around up there in my head, now I just need to find a minute to sit and create! Kids will be heading back to school soon, so I will find my time then!

So until my next post, Happy Crafting and God Bless!!!
